Why Laravel is a smart choice for business web apps

Nobody likes to wait while a page sends an email or builds a report. With Laravel queues, the visitor gets an instant response and the heavy work happens in the background.
Your code "dispatches" a job, which is stored in a queue (a database table, Redis or Amazon SQS). A separate worker process picks jobs up one by one and runs them.
Failed jobs are recorded and can be retried. You can set how many attempts a job gets, add delays between retries and decide what happens when it finally fails.
In production a process manager such as Supervisor keeps the worker alive. For Redis queues, Laravel Horizon adds a dashboard with throughput and failure statistics.
Queues are one of the easiest ways to make an application feel faster and more reliable. We set them up as standard on every Laravel project that sends email or handles files.
